Samantha was originally considered to be named Shelly.Starting on Night 4, Samantha is able to jump forwards in the vents, approaching quicker than prior nights. Closing the door in time prevents her from entering, and sends her back to Party Room Two, where she will take the long crawl back to the office. From there, she will pop into the vents and crawl her way to the ceiling vent. After getting in, she will turn into Party Room Two. Once she leaves her place on the stage, she will go to the Party Hall. With her bandmates, Samantha begins on the Seaside Show Stage. Her speech is prerecorded, but can be rerouted to a microphone for a more immersive performance by her voice actress. Her role as a vocalist is possible thanks to a voice synthesizer, enabling her to sing notes in a manner similar to that of an instrument, a method which can be seen as a form of vocaloid. In addition to this, her tail is operated by rods attached to the back of her hip section, also controlled remotely.
Her eyes, eyelids, eyebrows, and jaw are controlled via rods attached to rotors, and her neck, fingers, and limbs by remotes in the operator's booth. Her endoskeleton is the standard Fazbear model, only with the joints replaced by ball joints. Samantha functions in a nearly identical fashion as her bandmates, operating via a hard drive in her endoskeleton torso, with speech and memory in her head. In her backstory given by Fazbear Entertainment, she is friendly rivals with Carlos the Crab, and is extremely close with Coral the Mermaid. Her personality sets her in a light of an older sister, sarcastic but kind. She acts as the vocalist in the band, using her voice to create music for Danny the Diver and Carlos the Crab to play along to, alongside the pre-recorded soundtrack played over the speakers. She also sports a tail made up of long artificial feathers, coming out of a hole in the back of her waist piece.ĭuring open hours, Samantha the Seagull is programmed to act upbeat and sassy, as a foil to Carlos the Crab. Her eyes are yellow in color, with long eyelashes coming off of her grey eyelids. Her exoskeleton gives her a long yellow beak, tan legs, and fabric wings attached to the bottom of her arm segments. Samantha the Seagull is an animatronic, appearing as a bipedal off-white seagull. If she sees a night-guard or any adult after hours, she will attempt to make them part of the band, ie put them into a standard-issue animatronic suit, which will kill whoever is put inside.

From 12:00 am to 6:00 am, she is free to wander around the pizzeria. She is an animatronic seagull who, like with the other animatronics of her location, has the ability to walk around during the night. Samantha the Seagull is a supporting character and the vocalist in the entertainment restaurant Danny Diver's Pizza Place, a spin-off location created by Fazbear Entertainment.
